# Migration guide

> Import saved items from your previous wishlist app into Swish.

If you’re moving from a wishlist app, the Swish team can help import your customers’ saved items so they wont't lose their data.

To migrate your data, simply provide us with a **CSV file** containing your existing saved items. Each row should represent a single saved item and include the following fields:

| Field | Required | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `email` | ✅ Required | The customer’s email address - used to associate saved items with the correct user. |
| `product_id` | ✅ Required | The Shopify Product ID for the saved item. |
| `variant_id` | ⚙️ Recommended | The specific variant ID, if applicable. |
| `date` | ⚙️ Recommended | The date the item was originally saved. Helps preserve order and historical data. |

Once we receive your file, our team will handle the import process and verify that all items are mapped correctly to your store’s products and customers.
